Last weekend was the 150th anniversary of the opening of the Yokohama port and there were tonnes of activities going on all around Yokohama. Akiyo told us about an Anpanman show at Rinko park in the city, so we went there for 12:30 when it was going to start.
The kids had a great time watching Anpanman, Baikinman, Shokupanman, Dokinchan and Horaman on stage.
Lauren likes to carry around a birthday cake book, with lots of different recipes for cakes. Her favourite is the “pool” cake, which is made from ice cream. She man-handled it so much that the pool pages fell out.
Lauren got hold of Nicole’s lipstick the other day and without noticing, tried it out. We had a bit of a shock when we next saw Lauren. This is what she looked like:
I brought a doll back from Sweden for Lauren and Nicole thought she looked too “sexy” so she calls it “sexy Barbie”.
The other day I bought a Kimono dress for the doll, since I thought it looked cool. Lauren loved it and went looking for her Barbie upstairs. Then we hear her yelling:
“Mummy, I can’t find my sexy Barbie!”
