Lauren

Lauren’s saying more words these days. They’re still a bit tough to understand, but she’s making a good effort to say them. She can now sort-of say:

Flip (a pancake)

Sorry

Chocolate (guess who taught her that one!)

Lauren still loves Huke-Packs, and will say “Hu” and point to her back/bum when she wants a ride from me. She’s so sweet. She also quite likes the Thomas toys that we have to Evan and quite gets into the train sets that we have. She doesn’t get too fussed when Evan rips a train from her. I bet that will change soon.

Lauren is getting more stroppy these days, trying to hit us or something if she doesn’t get her way. She’ll also throw some massive tanties if she doesn’t like something. It’s almost amusing if it wasn’t so annoying and loud.

Lauren is really getting into singing. She now sings louder than ever when Nicole sings her the sunshine song at bedtime and points to herself after they’re done, showing how proud she is of herself.

She’s also started at the kinder-music, which is a music class for kiddies. She’s really into the music and has a great time there.

Lauren gave us a shock today, when in the middle of the night, we were just about to go to her and we heard the pitter-patter of feet and she came into our room! She must have climbed out of bed and come into our room. She’s growing up!
