Lauren

Lauren and Nicole went sweet potato picking with the Kindergarden class and had a great time. Lauren came home with a few large-ish potatos and we ate them that evening! Yum!

We met up with the teachers for parent-teacher meetings and Lauren’s teacher couldn’t say enough about Lauren and how well she’s doing. She certainly loves to learn and he re-iterated that to us. He says she’s such a lovely person to have around. So nice!

A classmate of Lauren asked us to fill in details about Lauren, such as favourite food, favourite game etc. I thought it would be good to mention some of the things here.

Nickname: Lolo
Favourite game: “Family” (someone plays the Mummy, Daddy, baby, cat etc.)

Favourite food: Broccoli, pizza, noodles
Favourite song: Dancing Queen
Favourite colour: Pink and Yellow

Favourite animal: Cat and flamingo
What she’s good at: Taking care of Bow (the toy cat), crafts

What she doesn’t like: When her brother is mean to her

Lauren told me today that she kissed a boy – in theory her first kiss to a boy outside our family! She was very giddy about it and thought it was all very funny.

She was playing “family” – her favourite game at school, where someone is the Mummy, someone the Daddy, someone (usually Lauren) the cat etc. Kai C is the lucky guy and Lauren said he didn’t really want to be kissed.

Then she told us that she kissed him on the ankle.

Not sure that really is a valid kiss then…
