Lauren

Lauren is particularly keen on some fairy tales that we’ve been reading and she really likes the little magic cooking pot story. The other day she said she’s read it to me and she recounted the story so well! She wasn’t reading it, but she had so many of the specific parts down pat, like the “soup oozing down the hill” etc. She’s so amazing!

We went to the Jogashima fish market on the weekend in the Miura peninsula. It was a good tim and the kids had a fun time looking at all the fish sorts. Here are a few pics from the weekend.

Lauren has taken to calling me Papa now. Not sure why, but it’s quite cute.

Yesterday at the pool Lauren went down the slide all by herself quite a few times – she was previously quite reluctant to go by herself, but she was very confident yesterday!

Lauren said yesterday:

If someone hits me, I tell them my brother will do Aikido to them. He’s very strong.

Lauren said this tonight when she heard Evan got pushed:

“If someone pushes you, tell them not to. If they still do it, then kick them!”
