Lauren

Lauren really likes playing with dolls, particularly poking at their eyes. She’s got two that she really loves playing with.

Lauren’s getting into books now. She doesn’t like to read them, but likes playing with the pages and putting them into her mouth. I do think she likes the pictures though, and we have a big kitten book with nice pictures that she seems to like.

Lauren loves putting items into things, and taking them out. For instance, she’ll find things to load into a shoe, or old kleenex box, and then take them right back out again. She’ll do this to the cupboards as well.

Lauren’s inherited some genes from Nicole – people watching!

Lauren’s started swim classes and is doing really well with the teacher. She’ll go to the teacher without any problems now.

Lauren took a little step on her own today, which was really amazing. It wasn’t quite a full walk, but was definately a leg step forward and then fall onto me. She’ll be walking soon!

Lauren’s getting another tooth somewhere and has been keeping us up at night. I’ll be happy once all her teeth are in and we might get a good night’s sleep!

Lauren got her 8th tooth a few days ago and is drooling heaps again, so she could be in for her next tooth.
