Good day – started early. Got up at 4, breakfasted, waited until 6 so I could start out on my half marathon the way I will next Sunday. Thought it would be good to go through the same sort of thing a week in advance to see if I could hack it. Ran for just under 2 hours, listening to Spitz on the MD walkman, and finished 20 kilometers OK. Got home, there were Naoko and Zen just having breakfast. Boy, was I pooped. Zen had been up since 7:30 or so, he first asked for me, then he asked for “uncle.” Too bad Ralph was already back in NZ by that time. Lounged around the house, went for a bike ride, did some reading. Dull Sunday.
