Evan has recently really gotten interested in learning Hiragana. He’s got a flashcard book like mine and we’ve written up all the hiragana and I’ve put the romaji on the other side. He’s got a kana poster and he’s copied the kana off of it. He doesn’t quite understand that he needs to practice writing the kana before he can remember it and the few kana we’ve tried to memorise, he has since forgotten them (ie can’t read them when I write them) but he’s got good motivation.
