We went to a birthday party on Saturday and the people there had a little plastic container which can hold fish, crayfish, tadpoles etc. Evan really liked it and had it in his mind he wanted one, so we went over to D2 and bought one for him (348 yen). Then he wanted to find some tadpoles for it, so we cycled all around Yokohama looking for some. We ended up going to the park near his school because we saw some there before. We did manage to catch 2 of them. They had mostly finished their metamorphisis to frogs, and only had a little stump where the tail used to be.

Evan’s very interested in the frogs now and likes to pick them up (we try to not let him do it too much – the frogs probably don’t like to be manhandled) and he loves looking at them and always wants to feed them.
