Evan phoned me up at work the other day to tell me something:

“Daddy, I got some new teeth!”

Evan’s 6-year-old molars had just come in, undetected by us. Normally kids get their 6-year molars when they are between 6 and 7, but Evan got his early. That means he’ll probably also get his permanent teeth early. Then Evan asked me when I’ll be coming home.

“I’ll be coming home late tonight, so I won’t be able to see your new teeth.”

“That’s ok. I’ll try to keep my mouth open, so when you get home, you can see my new teeth!”

What a cutie!

Now Lauren’s saying:

“I also have a new tooth!” 🙂
