Japan trip 2019

Monday, June 24th, 2019

We went to Japan again this year. Naoko and Zen were there for nearly three weeks, I was there for only 1.5 weeks as I didn’t have much leave time (and I had a big business trip to Australia in early June). This year we did a few day trips, to Osaka, Ako and Kyoto, and I also met up in Himeji with my ex-boss, Emmanuel Daniel of The Asian Banker, which was great fun. Here are the pics from the trip!! Click on the pics to see larger versions.

(Note – I went to the gym today, after four weeks away, two of which were spent in Japan not exercising, chilling out, drinking beer, eating what I want… I found that I’d gained: 0.00 kilograms!!)

Our trip to Japan!!

Sunday, June 26th, 2016

So we were in Japan from June 9th to June 24th. It was a great trip – we’d planned to be there for the 50th anniversary memorial of Naoko’s great grandfather, when there’d be a family gathering and a special ceremony at the temple. But that was only one day, so we spent a week taking the train around Kyushu, seeing that beautiful island for the first time, hanging around in Himeji, and also doing fun things like going off to see friends in Osaka, eating good food, and drinking beer. We also saw a Hanshin Tigers game!!

But why don’t I let the pictures tell the story!! Sorry, some of these pictures are out of order, not sure why that happened…

As usual, click on the picture to see a larger version of it.
