Happy Mother’s Day!!!

What a week – I did a BBC spot, met two CEOs (from two of the local Singapore banks), and interviewed the chairman of the biggest bank in India – whew!

Friday I got home and finished off a 2,000-word article (case study) for a book of contributed pieces on private equity, then went to sleep. Saturday I slept in somewhat, then went to throw the ball around a bit with Zen in the burning Singapore heat before jumping into the pool. Went for a haircut and ran some errands, then continued to do work at the computer throughout the rest of the day – stuff for the company, time-wasting stuff like Facebook, and a lot of YouTube listening. There was a huge downpour in the afternoon, and then when that ended Naoko and Zen went off to Codomo Club.

What a rainy day it was – check out this one minute clip!!

After the rain, Naoko and Zen went off to Codomo Club.

Sunday we woke up, and wished Naoko a happy Mother’s Day! Chilled out in the house, I got some work done, Zen did his homework, and then we had a great lunch. Went off to softball practice and had a great workout. It felt really good. Of course, I sweat a lot, but not too much. I weighed myself before and after, and this time I only lost 2.1 kilograms of liquid, not too bad.

Got home, went for a swim, and then ate Naoko’s amazing pizza. Check out the pic of it below. It was beautiful thin crust, very crispy. She used a whole can of olives for her and my part, and Zen had his with pineapple.

Right now Naoko is playing guitar and singing Spitz songs, she sounds great! She has only been learning a few weeks, but she already is doing very well. She could always sing very well, and now she can sing and strum, perfect!

Tonight we’re going to call Oma and Opa and wish Oma a happy Mother’s day.

Happy Mother’s Day, Oma, we love you and dad, and thanks for all you’ve done for us!
