Dogs

February 10th, 2010

Lauren is really into dogs now, she talks about them all the time. Today she said she wants to buy a trampoline for her dog and also she wants to buy a slide for her dog. :)

Buying a house with Alex

January 27th, 2010

Lauren has been a bit fixated with Alex, since she talks a lot about how much she loves him and misses him.

Then she started talking about how she wanted to buy a house near the airport so that Alex can come visit. She also said she would visit Japan to marry Alex and she would bring him a Kinderegg (Kindersurprise). Cute!

tadalafil uk next day

January 15th, 2010

Lauren has been going on a bit about how she loves Alex and the out of the blue she said:

“I don’t want a husband in Japan, I want a boyfriend here.”

I wonder how much longer she’ll be fixated on Japan/Alex.

equivalent tadalafil

December 27th, 2009

We were saying goodbye to friends before our flight out of Japan and Evan started crying because he didn’t want to say goodbye to Andreas, and Lauren started to cry as well. She started talking about how she loved Alex and didn’t want to be away from him.

It was quite bitter-sweet to see the kids crying – sad because they were crying and quite sad, but sweet since they care so much about something and were emotional about it.

I know how to make things explode!

December 23rd, 2009

We were walking home with Lauren tonight when suddenly she said:

“Daddy, I know how to make things explode!”

:)
I thought that was quite interesting and tried to get more information from her, but no luck. I think it was something from the Magic School Bus, but not sure.

Japanese songs

December 8th, 2009

Lauren can sing some Japanese songs. Here’s a video of her singing:

The larger video is on my YouTube page – you can click on the embedded video and it will take you to the YouTube page for the video.

Lost top front tooth

November 29th, 2009

Lauren finally lost her top front tooth (on the left). It had been very loose for a while and recently it was so loose that she could twist it all the way around, but it didn’t come out until this morning. The tooth clearly had been pushed out by the new tooth coming in, since it was so lop-sided and wonky compared to the other front tooth at the top!

Here is the before-shot, with the tooth clearly being mis-aligned.

Here is the after-shot, happy that the tooth came out effortlessly.

Sweet potato picking

October 18th, 2009

Lauren and Nicole went sweet potato picking with the Kindergarden class and had a great time. Lauren came home with a few large-ish potatos and we ate them that evening! Yum!

Parent-teacher meeting

October 14th, 2009

We met up with the teachers for parent-teacher meetings and Lauren’s teacher couldn’t say enough about Lauren and how well she’s doing. She certainly loves to learn and he re-iterated that to us. He says she’s such a lovely person to have around. So nice! :)
