One of the other families was moving away and they couldn’t take their fish with them. So we got to take the fish and fish tank. Now the kids can feed and look at the fish any time they want. This fits in well with their interest in animals in general, and teaches them some responsibility like feeding and taking care of other animals.
Another family we know will need to get rid of their fish too, so we think the number of fish we’ll have will get quite big soon.
Now we need to find someone who’ll take care of them whilst we’re away in the summer. 
Lauren has already named one of them “Barbie”.
