Evan’s getting good at saying the alphabet. He isn’t able to rattle off all 26 letters, but singing the song, he can fill in any of the letters we wait for him to say. He’s so cute!

Evan’s really getting into Thomas the tank engine. The videos only last 5 minutes before 7am, but he jumps around whenever he sees it. I’ve got some Thomas videos, which are 40 minutes or so, so it will be interesting to see how he reacts to half an hour of Thomas!

Evan likes teletubbies! I’ve watched it a few times with him, and it’s not all that bad. The sounds are soft and soothing, and the images are nice and appealing. Evan loves the little sun baby face. And loves pointing at the bunny rabbits hopping about.

Evan did awesome again today in swimming. He had a floatation backpack on, and was able to kick and reach his arms to swim from about 2 metres from the pool edge to the pool edge! Amazing seeing him slowly make his way through the water by kicking! He’s so great!

Evan loves to sing. Often, he’ll be in the back seat of the car, singing away. The words aren’t very clear, but they’re usually snippets of songs that we sing together. Sometimes he’ll say whole phrases, like “Happy birthday to you”. I think it’s a good sign that he’s singing on his own.

Evan can say “Twenty past 8” now. In fact, he says it almost too often. He’s also gotten into saying “Daddy, daddy, daddy” etc over and over.
