Evan Hoflich

Evan’s doing pretty well at kindie these days. He’s now stopped crying when Nicole leaves him there and says “Mummy go, but Mummy come back soon.” He’s so sweet!

I often say “Good boy” to Evan whenever he does something good, like say “thank-you” or “please” or put something away properly. Yesterday, when we finished putting Lauren’s cot together, he came over to me, patted me on the shoulder and said “Good boy”. Nice to get some recognition! 🙂

I was reading the ingredients to a yummy muesli-bar that Evan had and said “Hey Evan, can you say ‘Humectants’?” and he paused for a second and then just said “Yummy”. Easy way out.

Evan loves getting kisses at night. He usually wants another kiss even after turning off the lights and closing the door. Sometimes he calls us back 4-5 times before we insist it’s the last kiss. He’s so cute.
