Well it finally happened. Evan lost his front right incisor which allows his other front tooth to come it. The front right tooth was the first tooth he lost and it had a tooth growing behind it. It was much later than the other front tooth (front left), which he lost later and then grew in sooner. Because the front right incisor was still intact, the front right tooth was probably not coming as quickly. Now that that’s gone, the front right tooth is really coming in and he’ll have all his front teeth finally.
It’s a bit funny that the first tooth he lost, is the last one to re-grow. I was a bit worried that because he lost the tooth due to rough play, that maybe the tooth underneath was damaged, but now it looks like both front teeth are pretty straight. The edges are quite rough, so perhaps we’ll need to flatten that down, but sometimes when I visit Evan in the night, he does make some grinding noises like Nicole, so perhaps he’s going to grind his teeth like Nicole does. Hopefully not though.
