Lauren was crying about something (she had gone time-out) and went into the spare bedroom. Nicole asked Evan to go give her a cuddle to stop her from crying.
He went to her, and tried to comfort her and she was kinda pushing him away and kicking him (she does that a lot).
Evan then said “Ok Lauren, I’m going to tell you a story. Once upon a time there was a girl who loved Emma and she always kicked her brother when she was sad.”
