We went onto google images and searched for barbeques, flippers, red trucks and more and Evan loved it! Good fun…

Dusting

Tuesday, April 26th, 2005

Evan and Mummy were dusting, when Nicole turned around and Evan was dusting Lauren!

Just take it!

Tuesday, April 26th, 2005

Evan’s friend Aiden was visiting, and Aiden was fussing over something, so Nicole gave him a toy to pacify him. Evan wanted it back, there was a struggle and in the end, Evan just let him have it saying “Oh just take it and go!”

Underwear at night

Tuesday, April 26th, 2005

Evan’s wearing just underwear at night now, and has done really well. We’re still working on no nappies at all, but it’s slow going. He’ll wear underwear most of the time, but still wants to poo in a nappy, so he’ll tell us he needs to go, then we’ll put one on him, and he’ll go, and we’ll change it right away. A bit of a shame wearing a nappy for 5 minutes, but hopefully he’ll go on the loo consistently soon.

Big tummy

Friday, April 22nd, 2005

Evan had a huge dinner and wanted to eat some pudding.

“Will you have room in your tummy for that?”
“I’ll have a big tummy like daddy!”

Ganada

Friday, April 22nd, 2005

“So Evan, how’s the girlfriend?”
“Fine.”
“What’s she up to these days?”
“I dunno. I don’t think I have a girlfriend. No, I don’t have a girlfriend. She’s in Ganada.”
“Ganada? Where’s that?”
“I dunno.”

House hunting

Friday, April 22nd, 2005

(this is from a little while back)

“So Evan, how’s the girlfriend?”
“Fine.”
“What’s she up to these days?”
“Looking for a house.”

Map

Monday, April 11th, 2005

Evan likes to read the map to us these days when driving somewhere. He’ll talk about turning here, or going straight there, or following the blue road. He’s very convincing saying it too!

Jumping

Friday, April 8th, 2005

Evan was standing on his bed this morning and said to me: “Daddy, go into your room please.” I asked why and he said “Because I want to jump on my bed.” Sneaky but honest!

Two hands

Thursday, April 7th, 2005

Evan wanted to take both his lawn-mowers to a friends today, and Nicole was trying to get him to only take one. When told he can’t carry both, he said “But I’ve got two hands!”. Can’t argue with that.
