Evan’s favourite thing from today was the pump at the waterfall. He really likes pumps. We went to a farm day a while ago and they had a number of pumps from a local pioneer mechanics club and he still talks about them.

Nicole and the family were going for a walk and they went past some construction worker working on a building, and they had sledgehammers and were breaking rocks into small pieces. Nicole asked Evan what they are doing and he said “Breaking rocks into baby pieces”.

Well it seems Evan definately doesn’t want mid-day sleeps any more. We still put him up for a nap, but he never sleeps and invariably comes downstairs. But for that, he’s in bed early and never stays up late. He sometimes sleeps in later, sometimes as late as 8:15! Nice.

Evan loves saying “Mayo, Deo” over and over. Not sure how he came up with that!
